Nata nel 1821 l'Azienda Agricola "Casa Divina Provvidenza" ceduta dallo stato del Vaticano alla famiglia Cosmi, è tornata agli antichi splendori puntando sulla tradizione, sulla storia di un territorio come Nettuno e sulla riscoperta dei vitigni autoctoni, patrimonio unico nel Lazio da più di 2 secoli. I Cosmi sono viticultori da 3 generazioni, votati alla valorizzazione di un meraviglioso frutto della terra: l'uva.

«For Antonio Santarelli, Casale del Giglio was the family estate where as a child he spent weekends and then attempted his first motorbike races. But, when at the age of twenty-five he began to collaborate in the company with his father Dino, he felt that those reclaimed lands of the Agro Pontino were a virgin area in which he could try everything new possible.
The absence of an oenological past thus becomes the determining stimulus towards the maximum degree of innovative freedom.
He called ampelographers and university researchers to his side and in 1985, with his father Dino, he started a project that planted almost 60 different experimental vines on his land.
A complex and risky adventure, never attempted with this scientific nature, of which the company's oenologist Paolo Tiefenthaler becomes the interpreter.
An adventure which, however, repays the audacity with the first important results on the red grapes Syrah and Petit Verdot and white grapes such as Sauvignon, Viognier and Petit Manseng, which give life to various single-variety or blended labels, always with an interesting quality-price ratio. »

Silvestri winery
In the heart of the Castelli Romani, where the wine culture and the passion for the traditions of the past keep their flavor intact, the Silvestri cellars originate.
The story was born in 1929 in the municipality of Genzano di Roma, where its founder Alfredo Silvestri gave birth to the vinification and bottling of Castelli Romani wines. Passion, as well as experience and professionalism, have been handed down from father to son and today the Silvestri cellars are led by his son Dante, his wife Beatrice and his nephew Alfredo. The new and modern structure, in the municipality of Lanuvio, is located on the sunny hills of the Castelli Romani from whose slopes the sea breeze rises which mitigates the summer heat, thus becoming the natural secret of the savory and full-bodied blends of our wines.

The Giannini family's vineyards are located in the Agro Pontino, a vast and lush plain that has become fertile ground thanks to the reclamation work which transformed the swamp into rich and fruitful land in the 1930s.

The Fraschette of Ariccia
For the Romans, the trip out of town represents a real must, especially if it is "de magnà". The favorite destination is naturally the various towns of the Castelli Romani, famous for their good wine and porchetta.
Place of honor goes to Ariccia , with its little villages where you can breathe a popular and revelry atmosphere. If once the town was famous for the outings of the "fagottari", that is, those who sat at the tables bringing out their own food, today, moreover, its fraschette are real taverns where raw and cooked local products are served .
All accompanied by rivers of Romanella.
